I will tell you this.  Most teachers I talk to would love to see  the money spent looking into why so many kids get to school unable to read at all and afflicted with abysmal apathy.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;How about 100 mill to look into that.  We are insulted that we are being singled out as the &amp;quot;problem&amp;quot;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Not to worry.  Teachers dont know about this as they were left out of the process. Don&amp;#39;t let Ms. Elia blow smoke.  Teachers were kept in the dark and this will come back to haunt everyone who thinks this this &amp;quot;gift&amp;quot; is in our interests.  She got the so called &amp;quot;union&amp;quot; on-board but I will assure you even CTA members were clueless about this.  This will go NOWHERE without teacher buy-in and I cant see how any intelligent teacher will accept the assumption that they are the problem.
